Acting & Audition Skills Day Camp

Unlock your acting potential and build the confidence you need to shine in any audition with our Acting & Audition Skills Summer Camp. Whether you're preparing for high school drama productions, community theater, or summer theater programs, this camp will help you hone your craft. Through expert coaching, mock auditions, and scene study, you'll learn essential acting techniques.

Camp will run Monday-Friday July 21-August 1st 1-4 p.m. and is open to ages 13-17.
Program Fee: $550.00 per camper

Program Highlights:
Mastering Monologues: Learn how to choose the perfect monologue, interpret it, and bring it to life with emotion and authenticity. We'll help you find a piece that showcases your strengths, and guide you through the process of performing it with confidence.

Cold Reading Skills: Gain valuable experience in cold reading—performing a scene or monologue you've never seen before. Learn how to quickly analyze the material, make bold choices, and deliver a memorable performance under pressure.

Audition Technique: Understand the ins and outs of auditions, including how to enter a room, introduce yourself, and leave a lasting impression. Learn how to handle nerves and stay focused in high-stakes situations.

Scene Study: Work alongside fellow campers to rehearse and perform short scenes from popular plays, focusing on character development, timing, and chemistry with your scene partner.

Mock Auditions: Participate in real-world audition scenarios.

Actor's Toolbox: Learn vocal and physical warm-ups, improv exercises, and techniques to help you become more present, flexible, and responsive in your performances.
