This course will begin with the basics of the acting methods. Students will select a monologue, read the script for themes, and to help develop their understanding and empathy for their character. Once the actors are familiar with their scripts and characters, they will begin to memorize and present to the class for direction and feedback. The goal of this course is to develop acting and auditioning skills. Performance is required for this course.

The Grayson Performing Arts Center at Anderson Hall is home to many school performances, including the annual Winter Musical. Spaces at Anderson Hall include a dedicated area for stagecraft, and a green room for performers to change and practice. XXXXXZZZ
